These SIMS games are really addicting. This one is for the Wii it is called SIMS Kingdom. It is really repetitive, but still, I am addicted. It is one of those games that takes forever to get done and I just want to get it all done. So, I play all the time. Sometimes I can't stop playing even when Carter wakes up from his nap, I am a horrible mom. Some days I vow that I would not even start.

Happy Birthday to Me

I had a great birthday it was so relaxing. My father receives rewards at work for going above the normal. From these rewards he was saving gift cards to The Keg. It is a "fancy" steakhouse. So for my birthday we all went to The Keg. Then came home to open presents and eat an ice cream cake. I am now one year older, well on the fourteenth of November.

Gettin' Jiggy With It

Carter has a love for music. I noticed it when he was 2 months old. We were at a orchestra concert of my sister Alyse. During the breaks of the songs he would move his arms and legs out of control like. When the music started he was as calm as could be, taking it all in. (I am a couple weeks behind so this video was taken the day after my brother got home.)

Carter's dance moves are improving more each day, watch out Napoleon. He has also learned to stand on his own in the video you can see a glimps of this.

Welcome Home Elder Allen

My brother Shane came home from serving in the Jamaica Kingston mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints on November 6, 2009. We all met him at the airport to welcome him home and afterwards we celebrated he service at his favorite Mexican Restaurant "Mi Amigos".
Shane is an emotional guy here he is wiping away the tears. He was so happy to have served the people of Jamaica.

Happy Halloween

We carved pumpkins the night before. The big pumpkin is eating the little one. That is the one Dave made and I made the traditional face. Here is Carter in his costume. Since lately he has been really clingy to me, we decided to have him be static cling. His hair is spiked and clothing is sticking to him. He had fun dressing up and hanging out with the pumpkins.

But most of all he loved playing with the candy. I would not let him eat any of it. Poor guy he really wanted to. He sat there forever eating the wraper trying to get it open. He eventually got the kit kat open and was mad when I took it away.
We did not take Carter trick-or-treating because he gets so tired and cranky at night that is why his bed time is 6 o'clock. Next year it will be more enjoyable for him he will know more what to do.
We had a fun Halloween. We painted all day, ate candy, had dinner in a pumpkin, ate more candy, we played costume BINGO, and ate TONS of candy. I had so much candy, and we have so much candy left over. I am not eating any more candy for at least a month.
I hope that everyone had a fantastic Halloween.
