I finally got the blanket made for my friend Kim and her baby. She had him over a month ago. It turned out better than I thought it was going to. In the process of making it it was all different lengths, non of the squares were even, but I ended up liking it.
This is Kim and her little guy, Max.
We went to the temple today. We thought if we went early we could walk around the grounds a bit. Only, early in AZ means 5 am and still it is 90 outside. We only stayed outside for about 10 or 15 minutes. It was nice to see the Christus and Carter knew He was Jesus. Carter and Kim's daughter, Audrey, had a good time playing together. Then we went to Cafe Rio for lunch. I had never been. Carter and I shared a burrito with shredded beef. It was yummy. Thanks Kim for driving all the way over here and treating us to lunch.

Thanks again Lesley for making Max's BEAUTIFUL blanket! I absolutely LOVE it! And thanks again for meeting us at the Temple, and joining us for lunch (still can't believe that was your FIRST time eating at Cafe Rio). We had SO much FUN playing with you and Carter...we are going to miss ya tons when we move:(
