Carter's 2nd Birthday

We happened to be in AZ for Carter's Birthday. My brother, Derek, blessed their baby and we had the opportunity to fly down there for it.

Carter's birthday was on Sunday, December 5 and so was the blessing. We had a little get together in the evening for Carter. He opened a few presents, played with some balloons, and ate cake. Pretty low key.

I made a car cake. Since cars are his favorite thing. He liked to just pick off the candies that made up the road. He did really well at blowing out the candles (but I think that Daddy helped a little). We love Carter and are excited to see what his independent, I mean his 2nd year will bring us.

AZ Temple Lights

While in AZ we met up with the Bailey's to see the temple lights. Last year we did too. Looks like it is becoming a tradition for us. They do an amazing job at decorating for Christmas. Thousands of people attend each year, hopefully it is a great missionary opportunity.The husbands were nice enough to push the strollers. Dave and Carter, Rob and Jeremiah.
